THE MAN BEHIND THE SOAP
Our Soaper In Chief is Cle Haney. Cle grew up in Detroit, MI, and relocated to North Carolina in 1983 to attend college at Winston-Salem State University. He started making soap in 2017 for his wife. Cle chose the name WILDEMERE SOAP to honor his grandparents who owned a house on Wildemere Street in Detroit. Cle learned to work hard, to have integrity, and to love big from Grand Daddy and Grand Ma Davis. And for that reason, he only puts good stuff into every batch of WILDEMERE SOAP!
